This is a training course for Yoga Teachers and Body Workers who want to make their classes accessible to everyone regardless of physical skills or conditions

Specific Goals of this Training
  • Understand the benefits of an accessible Yoga practice, especially focused on improving muscle strength, balance, flexibility and physiological functions - and aimed at reducing stress, anxiety, chronic pain, for health and well-being.

  • Explore appropriate and safe variations of the most common asanas practiced in different settings (chair, mat or bed, standing).

Shanticentre is a dedicated Yoga Centre in the heart of Italy which has been hosting Yoga Retreats and Trainings for over 10 years

It boasts an outdoor yoga terrace, yoga room, swimming pool, sauna and hot tub

What you get & what it counts for

As well as the training you get over the 3 days you will be given:

  • A printed copy of the Accessible Yoga Training Manual

  • A link to 16 pre-recorded videos for a total of 6 hours.

  • The training is worth 33 hours of continued education (24 hours live contact sessions , 6 hours pre-recorded videos and 3 hours reading).

  • The Course is recognised as continuing education by Yoga Alliance Professionals.

Stephanie is offering this course as a part of her 300 hour Advanced teacher training course and will be leading the Accessible Yoga Nidra session.
