About the Event
This training takes place over 2 weekends in Bristol:
Timings: 9am to 6pm
Venue: St Werburghs community Centre
Investment: £400: £200 deposit.
This is a 4 day training for yoga teachers which forms one of the modules of our 300 hour ATTC in accessible yoga and spiritual development but can be taken as a stand alone module.
First weekend: We look at the history and origin of the subtle anatomy system in both the tantra yoga traditions as well as how the modern new age approach to the vibrationary element of the chakras has evolved.
We look at the first 4 chakras in detail and how to work with them in your teaching practice, using asana, meditation, pranayama, ritual, altar work, journaling and yoga nidra.
There is space in between the 2 weekends to delve into the lower chakra work personally, and discover for yourself any insight and personal experiences and inspiration from this work.
During the second weekend we will look deeply into the upper 3 chakras, as well as share notes on teaching practices, lesson plans and ways to incorporate this work into your professional life as a yoga teacher. A chance will be given to share ideas of the transformational effects and useful insights with the group during this final aspect of the training.
30 hour training module.
