This is a 40 hour advanced training module for yoga teachers, held at the Shanticentre Yoga Retreat, Italy. 

All meals and accommodation included.

A chance for yoga teachers to immerse themselves in practice for 5 days, including periods of silent reflection, deep rest and therapeutic yoga. 

Travel days: Tuesday 3rd and Monday 9th September. 

Practice days: Wednesday to Sunday.

Curriculum:

Daily meditation practice including metta bhavana, walking meditation and mindfulness practices 

Daily hatha yoga practices

Anatomy of pranayama and how to teach pranayama 

Daily chanting practices

Daily restorative yoga, yin yoga and myofascial release practices

Daily period of silent contemplation and philosophy prompts from the yamas, niyamas and chakra traditions. 

Daily sharing circle, pawanmuktasana and yoga nidra. 

Brunch dinner served daily as well as afternoon snack. 

Use of pool, hot tub and sauna included. 

Transfer from Pescara airport or bus station included

This training counts as 40 hours and is accredited by the Yoga Alliance Professionals. 

You can use these 40 hours towards your 300/500 hour advanced teaching certification with Shanticentre Training School.
